Congratulations to Dr. Claire Stenson, surgical SHO and RCSI clinical tutor, who was selected to pitch at the HSE Spark Ignite Grand Final on 14th June. Claire is currently working on the development of SMARTPLEURO – a novel medical device for the treatment of malignant pleural effusions in cancer patients in collaboration with Dr. Aamir Hameed and with the support of the RCSI Innovation Team.
